GROSS POLUTION TRAP (GPT)

MFRT

Modular Floating Rubbish Trap

MFRT is a second generation waste trap system made of interlocking UPVC cylinders filled with floating material. The MFRT floats on the surface of the water through two ‘vertical poles’ and is installed 30-45 degrees across the stream. It traps floating and semi-floating garbage and diverts it to a temporary collection buffer to allow garbage collection activities to be carried out systematically.

The concept of our application is Control At Source, MFRT should be installed in the tributaries before entering the main river. Usually MFRT can be installed on drains that are 5 meters to 25 meters wide. MFRT is also recommended in monsoon drains.

In the latest design (i-MFRT) several IOT concepts are compiled together such as, Mechanical Collector, Sensors (for Water level – early alarm system for flood) Vision sensor for collection on demand and oil and grease trapping mechanism

Specialities
● Maximum trapping rate
● Fast and easy to install
● Cost effective
● Trap even oil and grease.
● Environmental friendly
● Strong and Durable
● Dynamic architecture
● Easy collection
● Can be associated with mechanical collector.

MFRT V1

Modular Floating Rubbish Trap with Concrete Buffer

In this basic application  – MFRT is installed across the stream  and associated with concrete buffer  for easy collection and minimized the flow disruption.

Two design available in this application  – one with concrete stairs to enable  collection workers to reach the collected rubbish and the other is designed with ramp to enable the trapped rubbish been pulled up

MFRT at earth channel
MFRT at concrete wall channel (monsoon drain)

MFRT V2

Modular Floating Rubbish Trap with Mechanical Collector

This is the second generation of MFRT – MFRT is installed across the stream  and associated with mechanical collector for easy collection.
